Robert H. Perry, Founder and Executive Director

Leadership in higher education begins with the Board of Trustees and yet executive search services stop at the level of President. However, it is the Board of Trustees that is ultimately responsible for the success or failure of a college or university. Identifying and attracting well qualified trustees can effectively make the difference in raising strong institutions to their next level of excellence and in rescuing those that are financially troubled.
The R. H. Perry Foundation (RHPF) is the first not-for-profit executive search firm dedicated to providing the highest level of trustee search services for college and university governing boards. In 2007 RHPF was recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It is our conviction that these services, directed initially toward independent colleges and universities below the Tier I level, should be made available at cost or on a pro bono basis. For this reason we seek grants and donated funds to support this work.
We welcome interest in supporting our work through tax deductible donations. Upon request, we will be pleased to provide greater detail concerning our organization and its finances.
